In view of this, Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi started the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for the poor people who are unable to make their own house.
Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) started on June 25, 2015, for the people of both the village and the city. This scheme was a delight for the poor people who could not build a house for themselves because, with the help of the P. H. Housing Scheme, a poorer person could also make a house for himself with the money provided by the government.
This prime minister's housing scheme has been estimated to be completed by 7 years i.e. from 2015 to 2022. The Government of India has made an assessment of applying more than 439 billion rupees in this scheme.

⚫ With the help of Pradhanmantri Awas Yojana, a person unable to build a poor house can fulfill his dream by building his own house.⚫ Pradhan Mantri Housing Scheme has been started for those who are very poor, who do not have a house to live or who are below the poverty line.
People living in urban areas get a loan of up to 4% for loans up to Rs 9 lakh and 3% on loans up to Rs 12 lakh.
⚫ In rural areas, the government has increased the 33% increase in the construction of houses. The government had reduced home loan interest rates by more and more so that more and more people could build their strongest house.

Phase 1The first phase began in April 2015. Accordingly, it was planned to construct houses in 100 cities. Which was calculated to be completed by 2017.
Phase 2

Phase 3
The third phase will commence in April 2019, which will be concluded in March 2022 by the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana last date.

⚫ If you wish, you can apply for a housing scheme in the name of any woman in your household.

⚫ After that, you have to click on Citizen Assesment on the menu of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Housing for All website. There you will find some options like - For Slum Dwellers, Benefit Under Other 3 Components, Assessment Form, Print Assessment Form, Track Your Assessment Status
Select according to your needs.
⚫ On the next page, you will see a Check Aadhar Number Existence Box, enter your Aadhar number.⚫ After that, you will see a Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana Online Application Form, save it by Fill Up correctly.
⚫ After that, an application number on your page. Generate will be. Save that Application Number because, with the help of it, you can also edit the recorded information later, and Trac k your application status too.

The Government of India also gives Rs 1.20 lakh to the poor and the poorer people of the rural areas to build houses. This money is transported to that person in 4 parts.
The first time when the base of the house is ready.
